For Sale: Pandora Mk1 £2800
Gigi is a fin-keeled Pandora Mk1 build by Rydgeway Marine in about 1971.
This sporty Van de Stadt designed yacht has surprising performance for her 21ft
length and will easily keep up with many yachts half her size again. She has
several club-race wins to her credit.
Lying at Erith Yacht Club on the River Thames close to the Dartford Crossing,
Gigi comes with the following equipment:
5hp Mercury 4-stroke outboard in excellent condition
with inboard 6 gallon plastic fuel tank.
Laminated mainsail.
Laminated No1 & No3 jibs.
No2 jib and working jib.
Spinnaker.
Asymmetric spinnaker.
Storm jib.
Spinnaker pole and whisker pole.
Depth sounder.
Speed log.
Wind direction instrument (this is a combined speed and direction instrument,
but the speed instrument needs a new set of cups (supplied) to be installed
at the masthead.
VHF radio (not DSC).
Simrad TP10 tiller pilot (essential for single-handed sailing or just 'going
below').
Electric bilge pump (never needed as she doesn't let in water) with automatic
float switch.
Four cushioned berths.
Two long vinyl covered cockpit cushions.
Simpson-Lawrence Sea Toilet.
Sink and drainer unit.
Two-burner gas stove.
Main and kedge anchors.
Full electrical installation with voltmeter and fuse-protected circuits powered
by 65Ah leisure battery supplied by solar panel providing navigation and steaming
lights and cabin lighting.
If sold within the Club, a steel launch/recovery cradle
is included (this is not a road trailer).
