Other Local Sailing Clubs
Greenwich Yacht Club - A couple of hours sail upriver from Erith, they have a pontoon on the club house which you can often lie alongside and will receive a warm welcome in the bar. Co hosts with Erith and Gravesend for the London River Travellers Trophy
Thurrock Yacht Club - In between Erith and Gravesend they have deep water moorings and a causeway you can land on to visit the Club
Gravesend Sailing Club - A couple of hours sail downriver from Erith, have deepwater moorings off their tidal basin. Co hosts with Erith and Greenwich for the London River Travellers Trophy
SYM Sailing Club - Stubbers Young Mariners
Cruising Association - The Cruising Association is a non-commercial, international organisation, run by and for yachtsmen, to encourage safe, pleasurable cruising under sail or power and to protect the interests of yachtsmen in general. It has a purrpose built HQ overlooking Limehouse Basin, London, and manages Limehouse Basin Marina.
