EYC AGM - Saturday 14 March, 7pm

Just a reminder that there is the Club's Annual General Meeting on Saturday 14 March at 7pm.  PLEASE come along to get involved with voting in the new General Committee and other elected positions.

The 2014 Accounts are available in the members section of the website for review prior to the meeting.

AFTERWARDS: St Patrick's Night Celebrations in respect for our Irish cousins and members.  I believe that Guiness has been discounted for the night.....now there is a good reason for coming to the AGM!!

I found this rather nice article about Erith Yacht Club when searching for something else.  It is from the South East Area Topper squads after the training and open racing we held for them in April this year.

Thank you to them for the kind words and thank you to the Club members who helped out to make it a successful (if busy) weekend.

Despite the weather and rain, I am hopeful of a break in the storms for us to run the race.  We had a good laugh the last time so come along. Details below:

Don't be late for the briefing.

Also, I would be grateful for a race officer & assistant, and a fully qualified safety boat driver.  Let me know at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Hope to see you on the water....

BRASS MONKEY Series, 2016

Yes, we are planning for next year!!  Use this as pre season training, a reason to check your boat works, and a cheeper option than going to the gym to work off the Christmas excess......!!!!!  It is light-hearted racing so everyone is welcome, and members can hire the club boats too for a nominal fee.
